As soon as God the Father affirmed his love of the Son, Satan tried to snatch it away. Note that the whole Godhead is involved here. After God the Father spoke to the Son, the Holy Spirit led the Son into the wilderness. There Satan, the cosmic enemy, tried to tempt Jesus to step out of his relationship with the Father. Angels, God's messengers, helped Jesus. So it is with us. The whole Godhead, along with the angels, helps us. Jesus paved the way. Never forget the resources you possess, even when you're in the wilderness and tempted by Satan.

CANNING TIME I love canning time!  My son and I started growing, canning, and pickling beets 3 years ago when he was just 8 years old!  I look forward to it more and more every year! My 14 year old daughter is a great help, however, canning and cooking really  isn't  a passion of hers! We do the entire process start to finish outdoors on our cook stove.  This way only our hands, feet, and clothes are dyed blood red rather than our whole kitchen! 1.      Harvest them from the garden.  2.     Soak and scrub the mud off! 3.     Boil them until they are soft. 4.     Hit them with cold water and slide the skins off. 5.     Trim unwanted parts and cut into desired size. 6.     Mix pickling solution boil beets in it. 7.     Fill and process the jars! 8.           LAUGH EVERY STEP OF THE WAY AND HAVE FUN!      With so many chores to do and odds and ends to tend to, the Moss Main Winter Festival came quickly.   The vacant lot next to the book store was hers, and it was an ideal location for the townspeople to gather, so it was the default location for the town’s winter festival.   Volunteering to be the president of the ‘Winter Carnival’, as the locals called it, just added to her already busy daily life.   Taking on something this big without thinking it through may not have been the best choice, but Mrs. Nancy (her only employee) had convinced her that she should be the one to do it.   Plus, this way, she could have some control over what would happen later in the year, with plans for a court yard and gazebo to be built on the property.      Rosemary stood at the arched entranceway, Manny by her side, scanning the winter land she and her team had created together, with the newly found angel perched beautifully on top of the tree.   Snowflakes seemed to whisper from the sky, remind
