Honey Spiced Chicken Wings
·         2 dozen chicken wings
·         ½ cup hot sauce
·         ½ cup French dressing
·         3 tbsp honey
·         1 tbsp crushed red pepper
·         ½ tsp cayenne pepper
·         ½ tsp ground black pepper
·         2 tbsp salt
·         2 tbsp Chinese 5 Spice
·         2 tsp sugar

1 package The Chili Pepper Asian Chicken Spice Rub


At least two hours before serving (but preferably overnight) massage the rub into the wings.
Place in Ziploc bag and refrigerate.
Remove wings from refrigerator and let stand 30 minutes.

Place on oiled sheet pan and bake in oven or smoker at 220 degrees for about 2 hours.

While wings are cooking combine hot sauce, French dressing, honey, pepper flakes, cayenne and black pepper together in a saucepan and simmer, stirring occasionally.

To serve:
Remove wings from oven or smoker and toss with simmered sauce.
Serve with Blue Cheese dip and fresh vegetables.
